What would it cost to seal my car driveway approximately 500 Sq. ft.?

Properly done, the SEALIFY way, is approximately $1100.00 + taxes.

What is the SEALIFY Way?

At 877-SEALIFY we use a 3-Step SEALIFY Process;

1. We Power Wash the concrete (this removes all dust and unwanted particles).

2. We Densify (one time application). We apply a Deep Penetrating coat directly on the concrete (similar to a premier), this will make your concrete 50% stronger by filling in the pores and significantly reducing the possibility of cracking and spalling.

3. We Seal it with 2 coats of sealants back to back.

Do I real need to seal my Driveway?

Yes, over time, moisture will penetrate the concrete and contribute to spalling, surface erosion, pitting, cracking, and premature deterioration.

What’s the difference between a deep-penetrating water-based sealer and an acrylic sealer?

A deep-penetrating sealer absorbs into the concrete to reduce water intrusion and protect against freeze-thaw damage, spalling, and erosion. An acrylic sealer mainly forms a film on the surface, for appearance while providing at best surface-level protection.

My home builder will be pouring my concrete in the summer, when should I Densify and Seal my driveway?

We can Densify and Seal your driveway as soon as your home builder says it good to drive on (approximately 25-28 days from pouring). Your cost will also be approximately $1000.00+ taxes for 500 sq. ft.

I suspect my driveway was previously sealed, should I re-seal it?

Yes, if the previous sealer has worn down. Sealers lose effectiveness after 1 year, leaving concrete more exposed to water penetration, freeze-thaw damage, spalling, and erosion. The existing surface should be assessed first to determine the proper preparation and re-sealing treatment.

Once I SEALIFY my house how long will the Sealant protect my home.

With the harsh freezing winters and hot sunny summers we experience the treatment should last between 3-5 years.

Depending on the maintenance you do and the products you DO NOT use, example; De-icing salt, chlorine and harmful chemicals.

To DIY or not to DIY, my driveway and cedar deck?

At 877-SEALIFY this is what we do, full time. You will get a professional service and a company that understands how to clean and Seal your driveway and cedar deck properly using only industrial strength product that will last for years. Good quality DIY products are not cheap and usually require yearly Power Washing and yearly Sealing.
